The Lebanese Hospital Geitaoui - University Medical Center organized a scientific seminar on "Inflammatory Bowel Diseases and Associated Complications" at the hospital's conference hall. The event was led and presented by Professor Joseph Bou Jaoudeh, a gastroenterology specialist.

The seminar featured Professor Catherine Reyners, Head of the Gastroenterology Department at the Liège University Medical Center in Belgium, along with several other specialists in infectious diseases, surgery, dermatology, internal medicine, ophthalmology, and rheumatology.

The seminar was attended by Professor Pierre Yared, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the Lebanese University; Sister Hadia Abi Chebli, Director of the Hospital; Professor Nagy Abi Rached, Medical Director; and a large number of doctors, specialists, medical students, interns, and hospital staff.

During the seminar, the opening of a new specialized department in bowel diseases was announced. This center will begin its operations at the hospital starting January of the following year.
