The Lebanese
Hospital Geitaoui-UMC held an enriching scientific conference yesterday
addressing Artificial Intelligence for Global Innovation.
This event
gathered more than 150 participants from various Lebanese institutions. It
brought together prominent expert clinical, scientific and public health
professionals addressing topics such as strengthening pandemic surveillance
through AI, it showcased various AI-based Lebanese public health initiatives
and concluded with a panel discussion tackling policy making and the ethical
implications of AI in today’s public health systems.
This event
was organized in collaboration with Beirut Arab University, International
Development Research Center (IDRC), AI4PEP and York University.
