
“Rising Strong” the 7th Annual Medical Congress

Under the patronage and in the presence of His Excellency Bishop Paul Matar, Maronite Archbishop of Beirut, the new dialysis and intensive care units at the Lebanese Geitaoui University Hospital were inaugurated on Wednesday, September 20, 2017.
The ceremony was attended by the General Superior of the Sisters of the Holy Family, Mother Marie Antoinette Saadeh, represented by Mother Gabriel Bou Moussa, along with the General Directors, Sister Hadia Abi Chebli, and Brigadier General Professor Pierre Yared, as well as the medical and nursing administration, the nuns, department heads, and a large number of doctors, nurses, administrators, and hospital staff. Also present were the project engineer and contractor, Mr. Eli Selwan.
After the prayer and blessing of the two departments, the attendees toured the rooms, observed the modern equipment, and listened to briefings from the responsible officials about the advanced features of these new facilities, which reflect the hospital’s commitment to staying at the forefront of medical developments.
